My other friend had her second mastectomy and well, it’s a mastectomy, you know. Means cancer and all the rest of that stuff. So, she had a cyst removed on her neck and she doesn’t have any pain right now, so this is a good thing. There’s not a lot I can do for my friend that had the second mastectomy, but I am a master crocheter. Yeah, I know that sounds really dumb. I actually took a master’s exam in crochet back in 2015. So, and I know this again sounds really dumb, but there are patterns for breasts that are crocheted in three-dimensional things and they go into a person’s bra to make a breast in case of the fact that some people cannot handle the prosthesis and some of the reconstructive things at this point in their lives and they need something so they can feel decent going outside. So, I created two breasts this week. They’re not that hard to make and it’s kinda funny, but I did it. I’m very pleased with the fact that they look pretty good. And I hope that they work for her. So we’ll find that out next week when I can go visit her and deliver to her what I made for her. Kind of crazy!
