And we came up with this food called — we called it Pafafo. We called it Pafafo because we were messing around one night. My friend was writing on me with ballpoint pen, and she was writing, she was writing on my hand, but for some reason I was looking at it in a mirror, and so like I got all turned around trying to read it in the mirror, and, and — she had been writing “potato”, but it looked like “pafafo” to me. So I just — it came out — was like, “What’s Pafafo?” So, that’s where we got the word, but the — Pafafo was a very particular kind of anything, food-wise.
Anyway, so we had like a few cans of canned spinach, which are not awesome to eat, and we had spaghetti sauce, and pasta, I think. I think there was also, I don’t know, black olives might’ve been involved, cheese might’ve been involved. But we, we mixed this mess together and threw it in the oven. And being like — we just thought it was a weird combination for some reason. It doesn’t seem like that weird a combination to me now, but I guess I eat a lot of spinach mixed into pasta with other random things anymore. So that was the original Pafafo, was this, this mess. And just, yeah, every once in a while, we’ll still make something and my friend will be like, “Yeah that’s Pafafo.” And I’ll be like, “Yeah, it is, isn’t it?” Pafafo’s usually good though. It’s not like gross stuff mixed together. It’s, it’s like good stuff mixed together.
But, like one time, I baked a potato. I don’t know what I was thinking. I baked a potato and then I put — I think I put a little butter, and cheddar, and hummus, and avocado, and I think, like, chopped tomato? Like I put all this stuff on this baked pota- — like it probably would have been okay had it not been for the hummus and the avocado. And it was so good, like it was — I wolfed it down. And then my stomach was like, “What the heck did you just do?” ‘Cause there was, there was nothing bad on it, um, but my stomach was just like, “This is really weird. You ought not to have done that.” And I never did it again. Yeah. So, I guess that’s an interesting story.
