“Where the heck did the ball go?”

Over the last couple years, there’s been a lot of new things that I’ve been up to. One of those things has been golf. I’ve been doing a lot of golfing with my friends. I got into it really like last year I would go with them. I was pretty terrible, to be honest, I was really bad. I would use their clubs, and I would like hit every single ball into the woods or like the ball would go backwards sometimes. Yeah, Backwards. Like, I don’t even know how that happens, you know, hitting the ball backwards but that’s what I did.

This year. I really wanted to get into it though. I bought my own bag and own clubs, and I started practicing a bunch, and I’m still pretty, pretty darn bad at it. But I, I think I found a good joy in it. There’s a lot of competitiveness that I like in it. It’s, It can be relaxing. It can also be very frustrating, but I think it’s something that I’m over the next couple years I’m gonna come to really enjoy and hopefully get better at.

Funny story from this summer. I was a driving, right, driving the ball and just smacked it straight into a tree. I was like, where’d the ball go? Where’s the, where the heck did the ball go? It turns out I somehow lodged the golf ball into the tree, I’ve, never seen that happen before but it was pretty silly.

But yeah, I think. I’m gonna really enjoy playing this sport especially with my friends, you know, growing together, and out of the small town that I’m from, being able to continue playing the sport with them over the next years is gonna be something special.
